Thesis

I've talked five times with my boss about my thesis as she will be my second supervisor for it as the professor who'll help me is a historician and i need also an archaeologist as a supervisor...
First time we were still excavating. I asked her about a possible subject telling her about my old idea of continuing the research I started for the first level degree thesis, working on Medieval Castles of Val di Cecina, but she said that it would have been good for a phd thesis and a too big job for a second level one. So I told her: of what where you thinking?
And she answered that i could write something about monasteries starting from the one in Montescudaio and she suggested to discuss later about, after the end of the campaign of this year.
So we finished to excavate, I started to do my part-time job, I sat for some exams and decided to contact her again the at the end of july. I went to visit her on another excavation and while eating, she repeated exactly the same evenescent speech adding some notes for texts to read about monasteries (male, female, in Tuscany, in north of Italy, excavated, known by written sources and so on...) to choose by myself the subject.
I called her the first week of september to tell her what i had thought after reading what she suggested to me: my idea was to do a geographical survey about monasteries in Val di Cecina, no matter if female, male, from early or medium middle age... She agreed with me, suggesting as a comparison for the Badia of Montescudaio, to have a look about S. Paolo di Pugnano which is, even if a bit far, a good example of female monastery.
So I went to talk with my supervisor who told me in her opinion, there are not enough written sources to do an historical research about Val di Cecina, and gave me to do a comparison between the monastery of Montescudaio and two other monasteries already studied by other people...
Not so happy with this, i wrote an email to my boss about this subject and we met, for the fourth time, the day i sat for my medieval topography exam. She said she was going to meet the professor and talk with her about.
So today I called her, and she said she had no chance to do a proper talking with my first supervisor so she'll meet her when she'll be back from Corsica, after the 12th of october...
Moral of the story: we started to talk in may, I've been reading for it some months to define the subject and we won't know nothing more about until the half of october if I'm lucky!!
Do u think I'll be able to graduate in July?

...I think no!
