Classes again!!
Monday morning I was in Pisa walking through Dante square and thinking about the thousand things I had to do that day when I met Ric. He said to me:
- Oh Oh Dottoressa! Do you start to attend courses for your specialization degree today?
And me:
-Do I start to attend WHAT?
This is the way I discovered that new classes were beginning!!
After a short thinking (from 9.35 to 10.10 on Monday morning: LOL!!) I chose to attend for the first part of academic year:
- Ancient Hebrew language and literature
-Excavation technique
-Manufacture archaeology
-Industrial archaeology
And for the second part:
- Medieval Latin II
- Exegesis of medieval historical sources II
- Byzantine history
- Medieval Archaeology II.
Hebrew is awesome!! I’ve started to attend the class on Monday afternoon and I’ve spent the rest of the week trying to learn the alphabet and today (Thursday!) I can correctly read a text (only if it has vocalization marks!!): I’m sooo proud of myself!:-D
But I’ll have to miss the next three lessons because of the shitty survey in Guardistallo: again a week in the middle of fields staring at walls of farmhouses dated, if you are lucky, second half of XIXth century, writing on a formulary if other buildings cover them, if there is plaster on them and so on…<_<
And I can’t refuse to go because it could be a very stupid “diplomatic move” with my boss!!
Today I had a meeting with her and the crew to talk about Montescudaio excavation: she still has to deliver our bill to the sponsor, that means that probably we’ll be paid MAYBE at the end of October.
I have no more words!!!
I haven’t gone yet and I already can’t wait to be back home!!
Partly because next week probably my new adsl connection will be activated… I’m waiting it to work a bit on this blog adding links and other things!!
שרה (That means obviously Sara!!)

Good classes! My friend Carey speaks Hebrew, because her husband is from Israel.
